Merry Christmas from the Team at Funeral Notices

From our homes to yours, everyone here at Funeral Notices would like to wish you a merry, healthy and happy Christmas.

Given the nature of our work, we understand that may not be possible for all of you as you navigate Christmas without those you love. Please know that you are in our thoughts.

'To absent friends...'

This year, as we gather around our Christmas trees and share in the spirit of giving, let us take a moment to remember those who are no longer with us.

Christmas is a time for family and friends, a season filled with laughter, love, and cherished traditions. Yet, for many of us, it is also a poignant reminder of the empty chairs at our tables and the voices we long to hear again. It is natural to feel a sense of loss during this time, but it is also an opportunity to reflect on the beautiful memories we shared with those who have passed.

"Little by little, we let go of loss but never of love." - Author Unknown.

Let us honour their memory by celebrating the moments that made them special. Whether hanging an ornament in their honour, lighting a candle, or sharing stories that bring smiles, these small acts can keep their spirit alive in our hearts.

You may find it comforting to add a tribute to your loved one to our Christmas Memorial Wall. It is a free service we provide every year - you may add your tribute here.

If you are struggling with your grief, please read our blog 'How to Cope with Grief at Christmas' - it contains advice and suggestions, as well as details on organisations who can provide support.

"To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die". - Thomas Campbell.

Our loved ones may not be physically present, but their love remains woven into the fabric of our lives, and they will live on in our hearts.

We wish you peace and warmth this Christmas as you hold your cherished memories close and find solace in the enduring love that continues to light your way.
