Meet the Team - Customer Services Manager

Elaine came from the Funeral Directors Team to work on our Customer Services Department, and is highly experienced, having been our Customer Services Manager for over eight years. Outside of work, Elaine loves spending time with family and friends, cooking, walking and gardening. She is also very excited to become a grandma late this summer!
Elaine has a fantastic depth of knowledge and works tirelessly to ensure we offer the best service possible for our customers when they need it most. Although we do everything we can to make sure our service is as stress free as possible, occasionally, mistakes can happen, and Elaine always finds a way to make it right with as little disruption as possible.
“As a Customer Service Manager my role is often to become involved when things have gone wrong. Due to our efficient and caring teams, fortunately this is not very often and sometimes, when things do go wrong it can be out of our control, but we still look after these customers every step of the way."
Elaine fronts an amazing team, who echo her passion for fantastic service. Covering every aspect of our Funeral Notices site, they support customers and colleagues with a huge variety of queries and are on hand to help whenever they are needed.
“They are fantastic at multitasking which is a must for this team.
"They are multi-skilled, always empathetic and hard working. They are happy to take on whatever challenges arise on a daily basis. Whilst keeping the customer at the very heart of what we do.”
Although the job can be challenging, Elaine really understands the importance of the work we do, at what can be a very difficult time for our customers. Her warmth, compassion and dedication mean her contribution to the customer experience is invaluable.
“The most rewarding thing for me is that I get to speak to the customer/family, and often think outside the box to find a resolution.
We will always do whatever we can so as not to add to someone’s distress at what we understand to be a sad and difficult time for families.”
