It’s worth checking your local newspaper to see if the death has been announced there. Most local newspapers have a section for births, marriages and deaths, where death notices are placed. These often include funeral details such as the date, time and where the funeral is being held.

Online Obituaries
Most local newspapers will also publish their obituaries online, so check their websites to see if the death has been posted there.
