Charitable donations mean the world to us
With such a large number of people visiting the site and interacting on tribute pages, it is no surprise that more than £1.4 million was raised for charities and good causes in 2022.
The generosity of people is staggering, especially given the current economic climate. Seeing money transferred to charities following the closure of an in-memory collection never fails to make us smile - it really is the favourite part of the site for us all and adds so much to the legacy of lost loved ones.
If you were one of the many people who made a donation in memory over the last twelve months - thank you.
January is well under way now. This year we will be focussing on our digital notices, our aim being to bring an affordable notice option to everyone in the UK. The value of a digital notice in these difficult times has never been more important. To find out more about the digital notice, read our previous blog
Online Funeral Notices.
We are looking forward to another great year. Thank you to everyone who helped make last year a good one.
Thank you to the ‘friends of friends’ who see a notice shared by their connections on social media and choose funeral-notices.co.uk to leave their tributes and condolences, safe in the knowledge they will be moderated by our team of experts.
Thank you to the family, friends, neighbours and colleagues who reach out to us to read their loved ones notices and add their own personal tributes and memories.
Thank you to our customers who place notices with us who know we provide them with a safe place online to make donations in memory of their loved one, to gather and save their memories and tributes and make sure their notices are seen by the people who matter to them.
Thank you to the old school friends, expats, extended family members etc who find us after a Google search hoping to reconnect with an old contact and instead leave messages on their notice to let friends and family know they’re in your thoughts.
Thank you to the Funeral Directors who trust us to announce their funerals, arrangements, services, collect donations and publish obituaries.
