2. Movie night
A perfect evening for a good film when the darkness sets in. When the routine becomes a bit boring, why not check out your old movie collection or your wishlist. It's a great way to pass the time with friends and family, especially for the little ones on a Friday night. An alternative to discovering the shows you missed during the previous weeks or taking a guilt-free break to enjoy some quality daytime TV.
3. Enjoy someone’s company
Despite the hecticness of a typical mid-week evening, it's still easy to enjoy time with good company. Why not invite a friend, a few friends over for some dinner and games, or maybe just to chat and a bite to eat?
4. Make indoor picnics a thing
Hosting an indoor picnic is such a great way to have fun with your significant other, housemate, kids, or even alone. You can set it up near a window, with a blanket or large tablecloth. Gather some delicious picnic go-tos, like sandwiches, hot dogs, salads, a meat and cheese platter, fruit, or biscuits. Lastly, make sure you play some tunes and you're ready to enjoy a cosy indoor picnic. Ah.. and beer or wine is totally allowed - that's the best part!
5. Br-inner time?
Everyone loves a delicious breakfast meal, right? A succulent fry-up, some fluffy pancakes, french toast, or even some scrambled eggs - that will certainly give your day an extra boost! So why not try something different for dinner tonight and make your favourite breakfast treat instead? If you're ready for something other than just orange juice and coffee, how about trying a refreshing mimosa? Here's to Br-inner, enjoy!
6. Learn something new!
Why not make the most of your free time and use it to pick up a new skill? There are plenty of free options to choose from, such as introductory language courses, DIY videos or craft tutorials available online. It's the perfect way to challenge yourself and keep busy for a few hours!
7. Paint away your creativity
If you're looking for something that can help you relax, why not give some creative activities a go? They don't require too much planning and you can really let your imagination run wild! Sketching, painting and colouring are all great ways to get away from screens.
