I knew John for almost 60 years both as a colleague and also as a fellow Lion. I always found him to be a man of the utmost integrity and deserving of the respect in which he was held;a good friend.
Chris & I would like to send our condolences to Mary and the family and apologise for not being able to attend the funeral last Friday,

I'm so fortunate to have had such a wise, caring and inspirational Grandfather. Not many make it to 94 and he made every year count - a life very well lived ❤️
