Sandra RobsonDR HOOD OBESandra died peacefully at Ayr Hospital on Sunday 12th May 2024. Sandra is survived by her beloved partner, Douglas. She was a loving and thoughtful sister and aunt and a dear friend to many. Sandra was former Divisional Commander at R Division, attained and retired from the rank of Assistant Chief Constable Strathclyde Police. She held a Master of Philosophy degree from the University of Strathclyde and was awarded the Order of the British Empire for her Public Service.

The funeral, a celebration of Sandra's life, will take place on Tuesday 4th June 2024 at Alloway Parish Church at 12.30pm, followed by a committal at Ayr Cemetery at 1.30pm to which all family, friends and colleagues are respectfully invited.

Special thanks are extended to Dr Pauline Phin and the Cathcart Street Practice and Dr Anur Guhan and his team at Station 8 at Ayr Hospital for their care and kindness, Reverend Neil McNaught for his support and Armours Funeral Service
