BrianHOLTof Daisy Bank, Bacup, died in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Wednesday, November 27, aged 87. Born in Bacup where he lived all of his life, Brian was a school caretaker at the former Thorn Nursery, retiring from Thorn School in Bacup. He enjoyed holidays at his caravan at Garstang, playing bowls and was a keen gardener. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Norma, daughter Joyce and her husband Raymond, granddaughter Diana, grandsons Antony and Adam and his wife Casandra, sister Jean Henry and her husband Robert, nephews, nieces and many friends. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Dementia UK if so desired. A service will be held at Burnley on Thursday, December 12, at 1.30pm.
