Anne was a truly remarkable woman. I got to know her as the Head of Nortonthorpe School when I worked as an Education Officer in Kirklees. She gave of her all in ensuring that her pupils had the best possible experience whilst they were at Nortonthorpe and did all she could to give them , and in many cases members of their families, a positive future.
I kept in regular touch with Ann after I left Kirklees and we met up regularly. Whilst she didn’t enjoy the best of health in recent years, she lived life to the full. It was a pleasure to be her friend and I will miss her. God bless you Anne, Penny Robson

Anne was an incredible lady she was also a very dear member of our family. We have had many good times quite a lot of which she organised, cruises, holidays in Devon and many more. She will be sadly missed by all of us and also all her friends and neighbours.

Dear Anne
We had such a great time. You were so much fun. You loved getting dressed up for special occasions and you were always the belle of the ball. We would have heated discussions and you made your options very clear. We laughed often and you were so kind and thoughtful in your ways. I have so many memories of our times together and I shall cherish and remember them often. Sleep tight my lovely friend.

We had such a lovely time. You were so much fun. You loved a party or a special occasion. Loved getting dressed up and being the belle of the ball. You thrived on a heated discussion and we always knew your opinion. You were so kind and thoughtful and I will miss you and your wisdom so much. I have so many memories of my time with you which I will treasure always. Sleep tight my lovely friend.
