IlonaZSIGMONDWe are sad to announce the death of Ilona Zsigmond of Moorlands Terrace, Bacup on December 8th, who died peacefully at Lumb Valley Care Home, just two weeks after celebrating her 103rd birthday.
Mother of Peter and his partner Michelle, and Stephen and his wife Marie, also much loved grandmother and great grandmother, and beloved friend to Vivienne and Wilf and many others.
Ilona will be missed by all her extended family in Hungary, as well as her friends and congregation at Central Methodist and Stacksteads Methodist Churches.
A long life lived and much loved by all who knew her.
The funeral service will take place at Stacksteads Methodist Church on Friday, December 20th at 10.45am, followed by interment in Bacup Cemetery at 11.30am, conducted by Rev. David Burrows. l
All are welcome to remember a beautiful and wonderful Lady. Rest in Peace Ilona.
The reception will be at Bacup Cricket Club after the service.
