Dorothy was a much cherished family friend and neighbour who kept in touch over the years after she and her lovely husband, Jack, moved from their house in Surrey. I was touched that she went out of her way, a couple of years ago, to visit my mother, Joan, when my mother had moved into dementia care; it was a typically kind and thoughtful gesture. I understand Dorothy made many new friends in Criccieth, which does not surprise me one bit. She always met everyone with a smile. I shall miss her.
Louise (Boo) Bond-Fraser, daughter of Joan and Gordon Bond.
