DerekWOOLRICHDerek aged 84 years and from Crewe passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side. The beloved husband of Susan, much loved dad to Lorraine, Jayne, Clare and Bobby, devoted grandad to Sarah, Ben, Shanice, Neisha, Daniel and Jasmine, and great grandad to Sienna and Khalid, Derek will be sadly missed by his family, friends, former colleagues from Crewe Works, the Reasedale Co-op and the Woodside. His funeral service will take place at Crewe Crematorium Chapel on Monday 16th December at 12.15pm. A celebration of his life will be held afterwards at the Woodside. Family flowers only please with donations if desired to Alzheimer's UK. All enquiries to funeral director Steven Linde. Tel 01270 588980.

To all of Derek's family... what a wonderful gentleman he was. To have know him for the last 20 plus years We loved seeing him in the woodside when we came over to visit uncle Bob Marshall rip. Always a big hug for us all when we arrived and of course a little bit of a sing song often was held and Derek would be in the thick of it with Bob and pat and Paul... great chats always with Derek he had such a gentle nature but quite witty the laughs we had with himself and Bob over the years may Derek rest in peace thinking of ye all the scanlon family limerick ireland
