Valerie ChristineWOODWARDPassed away peacefully at home on Friday 21st March 2025 aged 79 years. Much loved wife of the late Richard, dearly loved mum of the late Michaela, Lee and Natasha. Special nanna and great nanna, mother in law, step mum and sister. We will all truly miss her. Val's alternative funeral wishes were to borrow a trolley from the Co-op, wheel her to the crem, everybody hold hands and do the Hokey Cokey, then get drunk! Typical Val sense of humour!
A service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium (Main Chapel) Friday 2nd May at 10:00am.
Donations can be made at the service and will be given in Val's name for Anthony Nolan, saving lives through stem cells.
