Margaret was a friend who my husband and I first met while holidaying in Torquay, then later through the Salisbury’s.
We enjoyed each others company on New Years Eve, rotating from house to house, where each one of the three of us would, in turn, would prepare a three course meal.

But Margaret’s table, which could never be surpassed was a work of art. Each place setting in its place, with its coordinated accessories.

Her elegance was unique, she could have worn a bin bag and still look glamourous.

I shall remember Margaret as a very fine lady in the true sense of a gentlewoman.
May she rest in peace.
