On Sunday 5th January 2025, Dr Geoffrey Wood passed away
peacefully at his home, aged 96 years.

Beloved husband of the late Mary,
devoted father of William, Michael and Sarah,
loving grandfather of Daisy, Phoebe,
Guy, Finley and great-grandfather of Oscar.

Funeral service at Mullion Parish Church,
on Friday 31st January at 11:00 am,
followed by private cremation.

Family flowers only, but donations in memory of Geoff
welcomed for the Lizard Lifeboat, via this page, by way of a retiring collection,
or sent to the funeral director.

Such a sad loss, Geoffrey had been a life long friend to our family for 3 generations.

Such sad news to hear of Geoff's passing. I was fortunate enough to work with Geoff and Peter at Mullion from 1980 until their joint retirement in 1990 and I will never forget his kindness, patience and unfailingly good humour. He was one of the best doctors I ever met, and will be sadly missed by his family, his old colleagues and his many previous patients. A long life, well lived. Rest in Peace Geoff.
