It was an honour and a privilege to get to know John over the past few years, and to walk beside him. An inspirational man and someone I hold dear to my heart.
With love to all the family xx

John has been such a friendly neighbour for over 50 years and it has been a great pleasure to have such a cheerful and interested person living next door to us. We used to enjoy regularly chatting over the fence and it's been wonderful to see how our two families have grown and developed over the years. We shall miss him greatly. Love to Edna and to Carolyn, Sue and Andrew and their families.

John was a lovely man. My Dad would have said he was the last of Unit 33 (The Unitarian men's group established long ago). We will always remember his smile and kindness, lots of love to all the family,

In memory of John, my very good friend and Masonic Brother. You will be sadly missed by all at Bury Lodge of Relief No 42 and William Romaine Callender Lodge of Mark Masters No 136, and the much wider circle of friends and colleagues.
A true Gentleman. Remember next time we meet its your turn to buy the drinks - and mines a large glass of Sauvignon Blanc.

Cheers,
Ray.

A man who should be remembered for his gentle nature and fullness of life. Funny Grandad, thank you for all the happy memories, the iconic stories you told and for always being so cheerful.
I will always see the tasks I don't really want to do as "good practice" one of many perfect examples of the positive man you were.
I promise to look after the girls and make sure they grow up knowing all about you, you will be forever missed and never forgotten.
You will be the brightest star in the sky.
Love you always xx
