EdwardWINDEROn the 8th of October 2024. Edward aged 84, passed away suddenly but peacefully at home with his family by his side. Beloved and devoted Husband to the late Norah. A devoted and adored Dad to Julie, Philip and Annemarie and a dear Father-in-Law to Michael, Gail, and Ian. A dearly loved Grandad to Matthew, Paul, Wesley, Katie, Daniel, Joshua and Isabella and Great-Grandad to Ruby and Lucian. Edward was a very special man who will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends.

A Requiem Mass will be offered at The Catholic Church of St. Edmund on Thursday 14th of November at 10:30am followed by interment at Agecroft Cemetery.

Eddie was a very kind and warm person, respected by everyone. I have many childhood memories of visiting Eddie and Norah and Uncle Jack and Aunty Bella at the shop in Sussex Street in Salford . He will always be remembered. Condolences to all of the Winder family . RIP Eddie

You will be greatly missed uncle Edward. You can now start your new life in gods garden of heaven with out pain with family and friends. Thank you for the wonderful memories you left with me. You are now reunited with Norha your wife also your baby's your mammy, daddy,
Also with my dad and mam living a new and wonderful life in gods garden of heaven pain free. Untill we meet again don't know we're don't when but I know we meet again some sunny day. Xxx

Well Eddie what a character you were. I’ve been trying to think how many years I have known you and the answer is not enough. How you would torment me every time you came in the pub with Norah and how she would tell you off.
