Gramps,

I still haven’t came to terms with the fact that you’re gone. Nothing could have prepared me for losing you, my heart breaks every day with how much I miss you and wishing you were still here.

I am so proud to be able to call you my Gramps and that you have been there to guide and support me throughout my life. I just wish we could go back in time to when I used to make you squeeze under the table to sit and play dolls with me 🥹

I hope you’re up there smiling and having a brandy or 2. I can’t wait for the day I finally get to see you again but until then gramps I hope I make you proud every day.

Love you forever and always,

Jade ❤️❤️

My Granda, My Hero.

I’m struggling to find the words to express how I’m feeling right now. Losing you has been the hardest thing I’ve been through in life.

You were the strongest man and have helped guide me through life and have shown me constant love and support and for that I am forever grateful to you and feel so blessed to have had a Granda like you.

We will meet again one day Granda so make sure you have a homemade curry waiting for me.

Love you always and forever

Dad you are the most amazing man in my life and I will always have all the special memories we had, from waving at me through the fence at the army barracks, to having loads of wonderful weekend adventures over many many years to then have to watch you fade away before my eyes.

I just don’t understand why you have to go with the angels and leave us all behind.

You have had some fab adventures over the years dad from the jungles of Borneo with your army mates who called you Jim to the great adventures we had.

You also loved your Sunday pint with Nobby at the Gateshead arms. I remember when he first met you he was sitting in the sofa in the living room and you came down the stairs with your jeans on and braces, yellow dealers and a full head of longish hair and he said flipping heck you did not tell me your dad was the hulk.Ha ha

Our most recent adventures though was up here in Bellingham at our gorgeous lodge in the countryside with the stunning views. I am so glad you talked me into buying up here. We have travelled all over from Hexham, kielder forest to the Scottish Borders hitting every pub and cafe to sample their goods lol.

I will continue to have many adventures up here for you dad I promise.

Dad, I love you with all of my heart and soul and that will never change and I am going to miss you so much.

You take care on the other side dad and we will all be together again one day, so keep our places. 💙💙💙💙💙

Well, Uncle Albert, I saw far to little of you as I grew up and left the North East for pastures new. When I travelled home, albeit too little, on leave, and we met you and Auntie Alice it was great. I remember my "retirement" from the Army and my son Stephen and I had been to see a proper match in Sunderland 😁😁 wearing our colours (Red n White of course) and when arriving back at my Mum's after the game the "WHOLE" Wilson clan were there in what else but Black n White tops !!!!! I still think about it sometimes.

Rest in Peace up there we'll all join you sometime xx

I cannot believe that I won't see you again uncle Albert, you were more than an uncle to me, (much more !).
From being a little lad to a grown man you have always been a big part of my life. You were a life long Brother in law / friend and drinking pal with my late Dad (Brian Hills) (VERY SADLY MISSED XX ), also a good friend to many in the Gateshead Arms (Sunday's) Match day ! I can still hear your voice when I think back to getting my Brown ale off you as a young 20 yr old lad back in the day and you never let me down,(not once). You will be a Massive miss to all who knew you. I WAS VERY VERY LUCKY & SO SO PROUD AND BLESSED TO HAVE YOU AS AN UNCLE. NOW REST IN PEACE UNCLE ALBERT 🙏 😢 💔.
