Very sorry to hear of Martin's passing, having known him since the late 80's when I met him through an advert for guitar lessons, he became a very good friend.
He certainly was a character, and I used to see him and his wife Sue quite often.
He certainly got into many a funny situation like walking to the gym when a tractor went past dropping a round bale of grass which proceeded to chase him down the pavement!
He was a brilliant guitarist and I dropped him off to play at the poshest hotels right the way to the grubbiest pubs, non of which ever phased or gave him stage fright, he would just walk in guitar, amp and karaoke kit in tow.
I will really miss him as a good friend, knowing wherever his spirit is, he will be causing his own special brand of chaos.
From Lee in Burton-on-Trent,
Rock on Martin
