Rhiannon Auriol MaryWILLIAMSIt is with deep and enduring sadness that Rachael and Gareth announce the sudden death of their beloved daughter, Rhiannon, at home on Saturday 16 September 2023.

Rhiannon, aged 24 years, is sorely missed by her devoted parents, loving brothers Tom and Olly, together with the wider family, the impact on whom is eternal. She was a daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin, niece and friend to many. The community embraced Rhiannon and will miss her.

Rhiannon will be received into Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church, Mumbles for a vigil over her casket on Thursday 12 October 2023, 4.00pm. A Requiem Mass will then be held at 10.30am, Friday 13 October 2023 prior to a private interment at Oystermouth Cemetery (family only).

Family flowers only please to William Pressdee Funeralcare, 1-2 Stanley St, Mumbles, SA3 4NE (01792 366513) by 3.00pm on Thursday 12 October 2023.

Any donations in lieu of flowers may be made, if desired, to papyrus-uk.org and/or jaclewisfoundation.co.uk

Dear Rhiannon,

I have happy memories of you working in the library.....

We read stories together to bemused toddlers at Under Fives singing groups......
You did a brilliant account of The Tales of Peter Rabbit....

But we made rather a mess of singing Five Little Ducks....we didn't have our ducks in a row.....

We can't see the future, but the past at least has happy memories, which matter more and more.....

Lottie and I have photos of you that we walk past during every day. We will always remember you, and all the fun we all had, dear Rhiannon.
Your memory also reminds us to change our inwards ways and to reach out and make time and love for others.
I have changed my career to help young people more, make more phone calls and visits, and have 'adopted' some more daughters. Just wanted you to know you have left the gift of a silver lining in a few more lives. With love xxx

My dearest daughter, life is hollow without you. I’m haunted by the day you died and how you died. We as a family are impoverished now you are dead and not with us. Visiting your green, peaceful but cold grave is some, but not much comfort. Xx
