RaymondWILLIAMSPassed away peacefully at home on Saturday 29th April 2023, after an illness courageously borne, Ray, aged 85 years, much loved husband of Laurie, adored father of Helen, Karen and the late Mark, devoted grandfather to Kieron, Ellis, Meghan, Cameron and Courtney. Ray was much loved by his family and respected by all who knew him and is already greatly missed. Resting at James Summers, Roath Court, Newport Road, Cardiff, until the service at Thornhill Crematorium in the Briwnant Chapel on 2nd June at 1.30 pm Floral tributes may be sent to the funeral home

To Ray, the most decent and genuine family man I've had the pleasure of knowing. Thank you for all your support over the last 26 years, when you've acted as a second dad. Will miss everything about you, gone but never forgotten.

Bampy, words simply cannot describe how much of a special, loving and devoted man you were. You gave us the best childhood any grandchild could ever ask for and I feel privileged to have known and to have been loved by you. I will forever treasure your cheeky grin, witty jokes, lasting hugs and not to mention, the inevitable bowl of grapes! Even though you’re not with us anymore, our memories will exist eternally. As long as we have those, you will never be gone. Love you to bits Bamps, until we meet again xxx

Bampi, you really were one of a kind. I feel so lucky to have spent my life knowing you, laughing with you and learning from you. Amongst everything else I miss your hugs, your jokes and your 'hiya El' down the phone. And of course, your cups of tea! Life feels strange without you in it, but I find comfort knowing that we will meet again someday. Until then, I love you very much, good night and god bless xxx
