GeoffreyWILLIAMSpassed away peacefully at his home in Spain on the 27th October 2008 aged 84. Cremation took place immediately, as is the local custom. A remembrance lunch will be held there on the 11th November. Geoff was a former resident of Kirkcudbright and was once heavily involved in the local community. He was on the initial board of directors for the Kirkcudbright Swimming Pool helping with the feasibility, planning, design and later maintenance of the plant. He was also a member and former President of Rotary. He was a keen member of a number of clubs and organisations including sailing, hill walking, golf and Scottish dancing. Geoff will be sorely missed by his family and his friends.
