Audrey was a fine teacher, much loved by her students who knew they could always turn to her for support. She was someone who had infinite curiosity about life, about the way life was lived, about books and about the chemistry she was teaching. One query would always lead to another, to deeper and deeper explorations of whatever topic had come to mind which made conversations both interesting and endless. Her great pride in and love for her family was ever present and, though I seldom actually met them, I felt I knew them.
Audrey both leaves the world a better place but also leaves a large gap in the lives of all who were privileged to know her, though I am sure the many memories will rise to fill that gap.
I send my condolences to all her family; my thoughts are with you.
