Jamie, our paths crossed on a number of occasions. I'm not usually one lost for words, but find myself so today. You are missed my friend, you leave a space that will not be filled. I'll remember your sense of humour and wonderful spirit.

Rest in Peace, Jamie. You have always been a kind, genuine friend and colleague. I wish we had had the opportunity to tandem cycle together. Richard M-S

Jamie you were such an enormous friend and had such a massive impact on all of us who got to know you on the battlefield bike rides
Your honesty, your charm, your humour, your ability to cope so outstandingly well and of course your relationship with everyone’s mate Freddie
May you rest in peace my friend and rest assured I’m not replacing you at the back of the tandem

I met Jamie through Blesma and the Drive Project, and like a lot of people who had Jamie pass through their lives, he had quite an effect on me. Always laughing, and making others laugh, along with his lovely dog, Freddie. He had a warm and positive personality, uplifting all the veterans with whom he had contact. I will miss him, and the world is a sadder place without him. RIP Jamie.

Jamie,

A light in this world that danced and laughed and warmed us all. I lack the grace to contain my fury at the shadows for taking you from us.

Thank you for the gifts you shared and special moments to be remembered. You are cherished and will be deeply missed.

Sending love to your soul and your family x

Our paths crossed though sport, with the encouragement you dealt out to myself and others being inspiring, warm and banterful, in a true military sense.
