I will remember Auntie Rosemary as a very intelligent, witty, and generous person. She was a kind lady, who extended that kindness to all she met. Our thoughts are with Susan and Matthew and their families.

I am sad to lose one of our residents and a dear friend. Rosemary was always such an inspiration to me as she achieved so much along side her struggles with health conditions. Rosemary was supportive to staff and residents and kind to everyone she met. She made a point of welcoming and comforting people. Her faith shone through her everyday. I am so pleased she has her rightfully deserved place in God's kingdom now.
God bless, I will miss you very much. Love Natalie

In memory of a lovely Troon lady, Mrs. Rosemary Watters, mum of my childhood best friend, Susan. Last year, I had the delight of seeing Rosemary and Susan after many, many years during my trip to the UK. Mrs. Watters, as she was always known by me in my childhood, was as interested and engaged as I remember, and we all enjoyed a pleasant lunch and walk together. While never my ‘official’ teacher, I learnt so much from Mrs. Watters during our car rides to Pool School in the 1980s, and how she listened to and interacted with others with thoughtfulness and empathy. She always saw the best among others and while I probably didn’t realise it at the time these conversations in the car were one of the best learning experiences I had. Mrs. Watters was an inspiration, one of the first professional women I knew.
My heartfelt condolences go to Susan and Matthew and their families. Rest in Peace, Mrs. Rosemary Watters xx
