Another year, another Christmas, without you here. It doesn't get any easier. I still miss you so much. You would have loved our family gathering we have started having to remember and honor you. We all raise a glass to you and wish you a merry xmas. You are still the star that shines brightly in all our hearts. Love and miss you. Xx

Nana, you know I'm no good when it comes to writing down words but have no trouble talking or expressing myself which on more then one occasion I would throw a paddy and you would have to tell me off. Every Friday night from being only a few months old I would come to stay, our Friday nights consisted of Coronation Street and Golden Syrup on toast (or cheese if grandad made it). Games of Rummy or Beatle would be played and I would always ask to stay up for Grandad getting in from the bowls club. You would make me say the Lords Prayer before getting into bed and although Jack the dog wasn't allowed to sleep on my bed, I would always try and sneak him in. Saturday's were the best when you would have a house full of our every growing family. Christmas' will not be the same now you have gone. Love you Nana. Sleep tight xXx

Nana - you were and always will be a very special lady. The matriach of our family always there whenever we needed you. There are to many memories to mention. One that I cherish the most is when I came home after my RAF training and I wore my No1 uniform to show you and you said how I looked like and reminded you of my grandad (your beloved Douglas) and just like you were he would be so proud.
You will always be missed all my love Andrew
Rest in Peace.

I would also like to leave a tribute to Nana, thanks Paula this one was lovely, I will second how special our Nana was. I also remember the lifting of her skirt in front of the fire, the checking in on us when Denise Babysitting me in Woodhouse, the Bonfire Night Jacket Potatoes and me flying down to Nanas over the field on my flyer bike to tell Nana things and run for refuge at her house. She is and always will be in all our hearts as a very special lady and I will certainly miss her Mothers Day and Christmas Day when she would come for lunch. At peace now Nana always with all of us and a Very Special Lady we love you.
