Sheila EvingtonWARRINERSheila Evington Warriner, nee. Jakes, born 28th March 1934, died 1 October 2023. Dearly loved and loving wife of Eric, Mum of Carolyn and Gina, and Grandma to Lydia, Gwendolyn, Grace, and Ruben.
Born in Grimsby, Mum grew up helping to run the family business, Evingtons, a dearly loved toy shop in the old Bull Ring.
Mum met her husband Eric through their shared love of amateur dramatics - both being members of Cleethorpes Amateur Dramatic Society. Together they founded Hainton Printing Centre, which Mum continued to run following Dad's death, until her retirement.
Although she lost Dad far too early, her many dear friends kept her busy and her passion for life saw her join WI, U3A, and Women's Luncheon Club, to name but a few of her interests. She received a long service award for services to RNLI, and she was an active parishioner of St Giles Church, Scartho.
Mum loved to travel and visited her families in Germany and New Zealand up to her 89th year. She passed away peacefully in NZ a year ago today, surrounded by both families.
Amazing, positive, kind, and cheerful, Mum we miss you so very, very much. Love you to the moon and back. All will be well, Carrie and Gina xxxxx
