Uncle Peter was always the most interesting relative to the Walsh kids who lived in Canada. As youngsters on our trips to Wales we marvelled at his exotic job in the middle east, his gold jewellery and his tattoos. We had never met anyone who had a tattoo! As we got older we enjoyed talking to him and his teasing was done with love...he was a "softie" with a gruff exterior. He loved our mother and our father unequivocally and on my last few visits to Wales he spent time talking to me about the importance of family. He was so chuffed to get a CD of my dad Jim singing and I know he enjoyed playing it over and over. He loved his family and they loved him and really that is the most important thing in life. Family is everything. Rest in Peace Uncle Peter. You will be missed. Love Jacqueline xxx
