EileenWALKER(née Brooks) former Director of Nurse Education (Clwyd), Chairman of the Welsh Board of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting, Director of Nursing and Midwifery Education at the University of Wales College of Medicine in Cardiff, Member of the British Woodcarvers Association and Volunteer and Trustee at Nightingale House Hospice.

Passed away peacefully on 26th December 2024 at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. Beloved sister to Maureen and Catherine and a loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews.

Funeral service at Pentrebychan Crematorium, Wrexham on Friday, 7th February 2025 at 3:00 pm. Family flowers only please but donations if desired may be given in memory for Nightingale House Hospice.

So sad to hear of the passing of Eileen. We worked together at the South East Wales Institute of Nursing and Midwifery Education during the 1990's. She was a truly lovely, inspirational person . She was a fantastic support to me. I have only lovely memories of her.
