I never met Elspeth but she was a great friend of my mother’s in their days at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art. My mother (Joyce Bone) spoke fondly of Elspeth and kept a number of the letters they wrote to one another over the years. I have added a photograph from those happily remembered days.
