I once knew a man who owned a van.

He was not tall but I looked up to him.

He built houses and things but the family and memories he built are more priceless to me.

I only knew him for 29 years and I wish it was more.

I have failed at a lot of things but I only received encouragement and praise when this man visited my door.

This man I knew was multitalented, he could master such skills as, smashing marbles, climbing cliffs and chewing chops.

He is husband to 1
Brother to 10
Dad to 3
but he will always be Col to me.
