The obituary notice of Gordon VANN

Gordon was my neighbour for many years,he was such a quiet, harmless,lovely gentleman.I saw him quite often,as he passed my house he would bow his head and say"good morning"that's all. Gordon always kept to himself,but if he thought you had a problem, he was there offering his help. Many years ago,one of our elderly neighbours saw a little china cat for sale in ethe post office,that reminded her of her precious deceased cat,that she wanted to buy,but she didn't have enough money to buy it.Gordon didn't really know this lady very well, after she left the shop,Gordon bought it for her and walked down the road to her house to give it to her,she cried.That was just a little of Gordon,with his kindness, thoughtfulness,love and compassion.
I'll always remember you Gordon May you sleep peacefully and rest now in the arms of God. Maria x

Gordon was a true friend whose heart was full of compassion, always ready to support others with a listening ear or a helping hand. His sharp wit and intelligence never failed to amaze us, bringing both laughter and inspiration. Though he’s no longer with us, his warmth and generosity will live on in the memories we hold dear. Rest in peace, Gordon—you will always be missed and never forgotten.
