Douglas aged 81 years.

Beloved Husband of Ryszarda and a dear Brother to Audrey, Valerie and the late Pamela, he will be sadly missed.

Funeral service to take place at St. Michael’s Church, Bamford on Thursday 9th November at 1.45pm followed by Committal at Rochdale Crematorium at 2.40pm.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to The Parkinson’s Society (Rochdale Branch) c/o Dixons Funeral Service, 2 Manchester Road, Rochdale OL11 4HY. Tel 01706 645501.

To the family of Douglas Uttley,
It is unlikely that Douglas would have remembered me. I was a good friend of his sister Valerie. I remember Douglas driving Valerie to my house on Fieldhead Avenue. The dashing young man in his red sports car! My family moved away from Rochdale in the mid 1960’s and shortly after I moved to Canada in 1969. I regrettably lost touch with Valerie. Sadly, via a search for her, I found the notice of Douglas’s passing. Please extend my sincere condolences to all the family members.
