Victor William CharlesURCH(D- Day Veteran and Chevalier of the Legion d'honneur) Of Folly Lane, Stroud. Passed away peacefully on June 9th 2021 at Cheltenham General Hospital aged 96 years. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie, much loved father of Keith and Kathy, father-in-law to Sue and Allan and a dearly loved grandfather of Christopher, David, Geoffrey and their partners, great grandfather of Josh, Stan and Dexter. Funeral service will take place at Cheltenham Crematorium (Oak Chapel) on Friday 16th July at 11.00am. Donations in memory of Victor will be going to 3 charities (cheques made payable to W.B.Wood & Son) may be sent to W.B. Wood & Son, Funeral Directors, The Ferns, Church Lane, Saul, Gloucester, GL2 7JY 01452 740728. Keeping with current guidelines, numbers allowed in the Crematorium Chapel will be reduced.
