ValerieTRICKETTMrs Valerie Mary Trickett, of Foxhill Drive, Waterfoot, died at the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Saturday, January 9, aged 76. She was a retired shoe factory operative. Valerie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going on holiday, playing bingo, gardening, feeding the local wildlife, and crossword puzzles. Wife of the late Joseph Trickett, she was mother and stepmother to Diane, Peter, Anthony and Diane, grandmother to Jessica, Brett, Lewis and Rosie, great-grandmother to Jack, and sister to Jean. The funeral will be held on Friday, January 29, at 1pm at Burnley Crematorium, led by Rob Bevan. Attendance at the funeral will be by invitation only.
