DorisTOPPINGNewbiggin By The Sea Passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on 10th October 2024 aged 78 years. Doris beloved Wife of the late Ray, a dearly loved Mum of Karen & the late Kevin, a dear Sister, cherished Grandma & treasured Aunt. She will be greatly missed, loved always & forever.

A private funeral service took place on Wednesday 23rd October.

So sad at the passing of Doris whom I’d had the pleasure of knowing since I was a little girl. We’ve been next door neighbours for the last 31 years when Doris and Ray welcomed us to the street. Doris was always warm, kind and funny. She was on duty at the maternity ward the day my son was born 28 years ago and was one of first to get a cuddle. We will miss her dearly. Rest in peace Doris xx

Doris was a lovely lady who I was lucky to know since childhood and we were next door neighbours for the last 31 years. She was warm, kind and funny. She was on duty on the maternity ward the night my son was born 28 years ago. We will miss her dearly. Sleep tight Doris xx
