PhyllisTHORNTONPeacefully at Ayr Hospital on Saturday 23rd December 2023, Phyllis Lorraine aged 76 years.

Dearly loved sister of Leonard, loving sister-in-law of Avtar, and beloved aunt of Adam. A gifted musician and inspiring teacher with a vibrant personality who will be sadly missed.

Funeral service at St Columba Church, Ayr on Friday 19th January 2024 at 10am, thereafter to Masonhill Crematorium, Ayr for 11.15am to which all family and friends are respectfully invited.

No flowers, but retiral collection in aid of Ayrshire Hospice.

Phyllis was a wonderful friend, kind with a great sense of humour and so gifted musically. She cared for her family for many years and it is so sad that ill health didn't allow her to have more time to do more of the things she wanted. She was so well-liked by all who knew her. We were privileged to have her as our bridesmaid 48 years ago. Marjorie and Peter
