LeslieTHORNTONDied peacefully at home on 9th of June 2011 aged 76 years. Loving husband to Eve (Mo) dear dad to three daughters and wonderful pops to his grandchildren. Private service at North Devon Crematorium followed by church service at St Mary's Church Bideford at 11.30am on Thursday 23rd of June. Donations if desired to Chemotherapy Unit Appeal NDDH at the service or c/o David Williams, 1 Abbotsham Road, Bideford, EX39 3AF.

My sincere condolences to Eve, and family.As a Detective I worked with Les from 1968 to 1971 at Bideford.We had a lot of good times together with Malcolm Corp and Sid Craner. We met in Barnstaple now and again after he left the Constabulary and he was working in security. Rest in Peace Les.
