RuthTHORNEThanksgiving Service for the life of Miss Ruth Jennifer Thorne on Tuesday 27 July at 2pm.
Daughter of the late Evelyn and James Thorne with whom Ruth worked in the family businesses (Rackfield Bakery and Thorne's Shop in Yeo Vale, Barnstaple) and a loving "Auntie Ruth" to so many, she also left behind a sister and cousins, and is sorely missed by countless wonderful friends who supported her greatly, yet did not have the chance to pay their final respects due to the pandemic.
We are pleased to finally be able to hold a Thanksgiving Service remembering Ruth on Tuesday 27th July 2021 at 2pm at Whiddon Valley Evangelical Church Barnstaple, Stoat Park, EX32 8PT. Please join us for tea and cake, to celebrate Ruth's life and friendship. If you intend to come please inform the Pastor (01271 269213 or 07504 925423) or Ruth's niece (07711 224402) as numbers may be limited.
If you'd like to pay your respects privately, Ruth was laid to rest at Bear Street Cemetery (PUN CON 50).
