GeorgeTHOMPSONIt is with great sadness the Thompson family are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of our beloved Dad, Grandad and Brother, George Thompson of Kirton in Lindsey.
He passed away peacefully in the loving care of Ward 5, Scunthorpe General Hospital after a short illness on Saturday 22nd February 2025 aged 82.
George was a loving kind Dad to David and Andrew, "little Grandad" to Ross, Raegan, Keisha, Scarlett and a wonderful Great Grandad to Florence. Caring Father in law to Angela and Stephanie. Beloved son to the late Jack and Flossie. Precious brother, and friend to many. He will be truly deeply missed by all. Funeral service at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe on Wednesday 12th March at 12 noon.
