DavidTHOMPSON(Dunston) At home on 19th January 2025, aged 88 years, David.

Dearly loved husband of Joan, much loved dad of Janet and Graeme and dear father-in-law of Irene.

Funeral Mass at St Nicholas Church, Dunston on Monday 10th February at 11.30am.

Cremation to follow at Saltwell Crematorium at 1.00pm.

Would friends please meet at church.

Family flowers only.

Donations in lieu if desired to St. Nicholas Church, Dunston.

Uncle David was a kind and gentle man. Always took time to ask what I'd been up to with work and was always interested. I even had the opportunity of professionally working with him which was also a great pleasure. Our heartfelt thoughts go out to Aunty Joan, Janet, Graeme and Irene. Rest in peace lovely man.

I will always remember my Uncle David as a gentle giant with my mam's eyes that came with a lovely smile and often laughter. Boxing day's were simply the best at Christmas time when spent at Dunston. Summer holidays and trips to Seaton sluice as a child are fondly remembered. Our love and deepest sympathy's go to aunty Joan, Janet, Graeme and Irene. We are so sorry for your loss lots of love David,Helen and family xxx
