Peacefully passed away on Saturday 12th October 2024, aged 94 years.

Beloved father and father in law of Alan and Allison, John and Jan and Linda and Phil. Devoted grandfather and great grandfather.

Funeral service to be held at West Road Crematorium on Monday 11th November 2024 at 10.30am.

No flowers please. Donations in lieu to St Oswald's Hospice.

Uncle Bill will be missed but the many memories since childhood remain. I’ll always be grateful for his ( and Alan’s) help keeping an eye on Dad. That’s just one example of the caring, funny, uncle I will always remember.

What a lovely gentleman Uncle Bill was. Still miss the childhood family get togethers on Boxing Day. Last of the generation for our side of the family so very sad day.
