John BruceTEBBUTTPassed away peacefully at Woodheyes Care home on Thursday 19th December, aged 93 years. Devoted and Much Loved Husband of Marie. Dear Father and Father-in-law of Wendy and Brendan, Simon and Catherine. A Dear and proud Grandpa and Great Grandpa. John's funeral service will take place at St Philip and St James Church, Groby on Monday 20th January 2025 at 11am. Followed by a burial at Groby Cemetery. Donations, if desired, can be made to the Shuttlewood Clarke Foundation and can be sent C/O

I always enjoyed John's company and the chats we had, putting the world to rights, when we near neighbours in LFE.
I admired his amiable personality and dry sense of humour and I am reminded of one of his jokes which is very poignant, at this time. Quote " I won't come to your funeral, if you don't come to mine "
I will be there as a sign of respect for a good man and old friend. RIP John
