MarySWEETMANMary Sweetman, of Hillview Care Home, formerly of Underbank Close, Bacup, died on Thursday, November 12, aged 91. She was a sample machinist for Sutton’s at Bacup for most of her working life. Mary was a dog lover, and loved baking and spending time with her family. She was a member at Acre Mill Baptist and choir. Wife of the late George Sweetman, she leaves son Ian and wife Lourdes, son David and partner Anita, daughter Patricia and husband Paul, six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great, great-grandchild. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 25, at 1.30pm at Acre Mill Baptist Church, followed by burial at Bacup Cemetery. Family flowers only please, with donations if desired to Alzheimer’s Society. Funeral director: Dawn Winfield for Fred Hamer Funeral Services.
