It's been nearly a year and It's still unbelievable that John is no longer with us. I'll always cherish the memories of all the fun trips to places we all had in the mini buses with John years ago when he was our teacher. He wasn't just a teacher to us, he was also a beloved and generous friend who wouldn't even hurt a fly and couldn't have asked for a teacher better than him as he was truly the best. On angels wings, he was taken away but in our hearts, he will always stay 🙏🏻❤️

I was so very saddened and shocked to hear this news. I knew John many moons ago and he was such a wonderful man. My thoughts and love go to his wife and children and his family and friends. In the words of Simple Minds: Don't You (forget about me). John, you will live on in the hearts and minds of many...rest in peace.
