ErnestSTOTTof Hurst Crescent, Rawtenstall, passed away peacefully as he slept at the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Thursday, January 16, aged 101. Ernest was a Press Felt Factory manager for most of his working life. Loving husband of the late Hilda, he leaves son Peter, a daughter-in-law Marje, grandson Chris and wife Alice and great-grandchildren Jasper and Georgie. The funeral was held on Tuesday, February 4, with service at St Mary's Church led by Rev Chris Casey, followed by interment at Haslingden Cemetery. Donations if desired to Alzheimer's Society.
