Ernest JohnSTEVENSSadly but peacefully on Sunday 9th June 2024 aged 90 years, Ernest (Ernie) Stevens of Aberdyberthi Street, Hafod passed away at Morriston Hospital after a long illness patiently borne. Ernest, devoted husband of Joyce, loving father of Andrew and the late Kevin, much loved father in law of Janet, loving grandfather of Sean, Kevin and wife Lisa, cherished great grandfather of Elyssa and Isla, loved brother in law of Margaret, Phillip and his wife Faye, special uncle to all his nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the nursing staff at Morriston Hospital, relatives, friends and neighbours, to his nieces Helen and Kathryn and friends Noel and Mansel for all their loyal support during his illness.
Ernest will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all his family and friends.
Funeral service will take place at 2.30pm on Monday 8th July at Swansea Crematorium. Family flowers only please by request, donations in memory of Ernest are welcome for The Alzheimer's Society.
