Peacefully at rest on Thursday 20th February 2025 at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice with close family by her side after a short illness fought with great courage and dignity, Mel aged 53 years of Stoke, the dearly loved and amazing mum of Charlotte, a dear mother in law of Oliver, the much loved and cherished nanny Rio to Maya, a dearly loved and treasured daughter of Carol and Graham, a loving stepdaughter to Jim and Karen, a much loved sister of Darren, Debbie, Hayley, Rachel and Sam, also a loving auntie to Sophie.

Mel will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and many friends.

A celebration of Mel's life will take place at St. Peter ad Vincula, (Stoke Minster Church), Glebe Street, Stoke on Tuesday 11th March 2025 at 11.15am prior to a private interment.

Would all friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the church.

As Mel loved bright colours, the family have requested those who attend wear something bright.

Family flowers only please, donations would be preferred in memory of Mel to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
