Christmas is a special time, it fills our hearts with love, but it doesn't feel the same now, as you watch us from above.
The lights on the tree don't shine as bright, and my tears they'd melt the snow, because it's hard to get through Christmas, since the day you had to go.
Everything is ready, there's gifts under the tree, but there's a space beside the fireplace, where your stocking used to be.
I know you will be watching, and things will be okay, because I feel you close beside me, every single day.
If miracles do happen at Christmas, then I pray that mine comes true, I'd receive the perfect present, to spend another Christmas with you.
