Only found out today about Joan. Our family lived next door on Kenpas Highway for years and Joan made my beautiful wedding dress when I married in 1969.

I have just found out the sad news of Bobs’ death. Following contact during my time in the police, we became friends and I would visit occasionally, also sending postcards from my travels. Bobs had so many stories and always made me very welcome with copious cups of tea and biscuits.

Rest in Peace, Bobs. It was a real privilege to know you.
